Job Opening:
General Studies Elementary School Teacher, 4th grade boys.
Location:
Sherman Oaks, CA
Start Date:
August 2024
Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Thursday: 7:45 am - 4:30 pm, Friday 7:45 am - 2:30 pm
- Create a flexible program and environment to promote learning and personal growth.
- Establish rapport with pupils, parents and other staff members.
- Motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge to provide a good foundation for academic growth.
- Use curriculum to plan long- and short-term goals for student progress.
- Implement instructional methodologies to focus on student engagement and success.
- Adhere to all school policies and procedures.
- A valid teaching credential or at least 3 years of teaching experience and an education degree
- Energy, creativity, dedication.
- Experience working in an elementary school.
- Familiarity with responsive classroom, Math in focus and foundations a plus.
Compensation: $60, plus benefits
