Steven Enterprises is seeking a passionate and spiritually grounded Youth Pastor to lead, disciple, and engage the youth of our church community. The Youth Pastor will be responsible for developing and overseeing programs that nurture spiritual growth, foster meaningful relationships, and encourage active participation in church life. This role requires strong leadership, effective communication skills, and a heart for mentoring young people.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, lead, and oversee weekly youth services, Bible studies, and small group sessions.
- Provide spiritual guidance, counseling, and mentorship to youth and their families.
- Develop and implement engaging programs, events, retreats, and outreach activities for middle school and high school students.
- Collaborate with church leadership and ministry teams to align youth ministry with the overall mission and vision of the church.
- Recruit, train, and support youth ministry volunteers and leaders.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and Christ-centered environment for all youth activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding youth programs, events, and spiritual development.
- Encourage youth participation in worship services, community service, and mission opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records, schedules, and reports related to youth ministry activities.
- A strong personal faith and commitment to Christian values and teachings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Ministry, Biblical Studies, or a related field (preferred).
- Prior experience working with youth in a church or ministry setting.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to connect with youth from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience planning youth events, camps, or mission trips.
- Counseling or pastoral care experience.
- Familiarity with youth culture, social media, and modern communication tools.
- Combination of office work, youth gatherings, events, and off-site activities.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as required.
