Senior Hardware Build Engineer (Aerospace)

Base pay range: $150,000 – $200,000 per year, plus equity, relocation assistance, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401(k), PTO, and other benefits.

The Role:

• Lead prototype and first‑article builds of new hardware products.
• Collaborate closely with design and manufacturing teams to bring concepts to life.
• Take on hands‑on responsibilities including CAD revisions, GD&T, drawings, and BOMs.
• Support the build‑out and optimization of a new prototyping and testing facility.
• Troubleshoot, test, and refine early‑stage hardware.

The Person:

• Background in mechanical, hardware, or product engineering.
• Strong hands‑on build, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in CAD with solid understanding of GD&T, materials, and tolerances.
• Thrives in a high‑growth, fast‑paced startup engineering environment.
• Aviation/aerospace experience preferred; other relevant industries considered.
