Senior Hardware Build Engineer (Aerospace)
Become part of a high‑growth startup that designs next‑generation aviation hardware. This early‑stage role gives you end‑to‑end ownership of prototyping and test facilities and the opportunity to make a visible impact from day one.
Base pay range: $150,000 – $200,000 per year, plus equity, relocation assistance, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401(k), PTO, and other benefits.
The Role:
- Lead prototype and first‑article builds of new hardware products.
- Collaborate closely with design and manufacturing teams to bring concepts to life.
- Take on hands‑on responsibilities including CAD revisions, GD&T, drawings, and BOMs.
- Support the build‑out and optimization of a new prototyping and testing facility.
- Troubleshoot, test, and refine early‑stage hardware.
The Person:
- Background in mechanical, hardware, or product engineering.
- Strong hands‑on build, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in CAD with solid understanding of GD&T, materials, and tolerances.
- Thrives in a high‑growth, fast‑paced startup engineering environment.
- Aviation/aerospace experience preferred; other relevant industries considered.
