Base pay range$110.00/hr - $120.00/hr
MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE. Support a Fortune 500 Aero-Defense Company as an Aerospace Stress Analysis Engineer. Engineer can also work out of Fort Worth TX facility.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for performing stress analysis on new designs of primary and secondary airframe structure, as well as updating existing analyses to incorporate design changes. Experience in stress analysis of subsystems and subsystems installations desired. Experience with MRB stress analysis of metallic and composite structure desired. Required experience with FEA software including NASTRAN and PATRAN. Experience using Altair Hyper Mesh as a pre-processor and TMP Vision for post-processing desired.
Experience with CATIA V5/3DX highly desired. Familiarity with UNIX/LINUX operating systems desired. Candidate must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings and models.
