Senior Structural AutoCAD Drafter / Designer (Full-Time, In-Person)
Pay: $30.00 – $38.00 per hour

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Structural AutoCAD Drafter/Designer with a strong background in timber (wood-frame) residential buildings and related structural systems. This is a full-time, in-office position supporting high-quality residential structural engineering projects.
The ideal candidate is highly proficient in AutoCAD, detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with engineers and project teams. Revit experience is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities- Prepare complete and accurate structural drawings using AutoCAD for residential projects
- Draft structural plans, sections, details, schedules, and typical details for wood-frame construction
- Coordinate directly with structural engineers to implement design intent and redlines
- Review and incorporate plan check comments and coordination revisions
- Maintain drawing quality, consistency, and adherence to office drafting standards
- Assist with permit and construction document preparation
- Support junior drafters as needed
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (required)
- Senior-level experience in structural drafting
- Strong experience with timber / wood-frame residential structures
- Familiarity with structural systems including wood, steel, and concrete
- Experience with residential construction documents and permitting
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects
- Strong communication skills; professional and reliable
- Revit experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Construction, or related field)
- Competitive hourly pay ($30.00 – $38.00 per hour)
