Site Civil Engineer – Los Angeles, CA

As part of the Building Engineering Services Group, you will design the civil backbone for large‑scale campuses and building sites.

• Design and coordinate site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and paving for large‑scale campuses and building sites.
• Prepare technical reports and calculations (stormwater, earthwork, sewer/water demand).
• Support permitting and zoning reviews for local/state agencies.
• Develop construction documents and technical specifications.
• Provide technical leadership and function as a project engineer or specialist on mid‑size facility‑focused projects.

• 3+ years of civil site design experience, preferably on data center, healthcare, industrial or institutional building sites.
• Expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D (earthwork, surfaces, profiles).
• Familiarity with Open Flows or similar tools (a plus).

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous experience in general civil engineering.
• Professional engineering license recognized in the location of the position (PE, P.Eng etc.).
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to participation in an employee‑owned culture.

Competitive range: $86,000 – $123,000 per year, depending on experience, skills and location.
