Job SummaryYour expertise in procurement and planning will contribute to maintaining a stable and efficient supply chain and ensure Mason can meet customer demands effectively. You will work closely with production and engineering to carry out procurement and planning tasks, support product development, optimize inventory, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain supplier relationships.
Primary Responsibilities- Verify nomenclature and specifications of purchase requests.
- Define purchase requirements, planning, schedule, and monitor material, goods, and services throughout the product life cycle.
- Review engineering drawings and specifications when preparing RFQ packages to ensure supplier clarity and alignment.
- Run and monitor MRP and Open Order Reports weekly to ensure timely deliveries and communicate possible delays.
- Manage orders and project timelines in case of design changes, shortages, or disruptions.
- Build and maintain supplier relationships; act as primary point of contact for issues.
- Manage procurement processes to ensure timely acquisition from reliable sources.
- Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing, terms, and lead times.
- Analyze supplier quotations for specifications, cost, delivery terms, lead time, and market conditions.
- Collaborate with quality and inspection teams to investigate nonconforming goods and implement corrective actions.
- Identify, evaluate and vet new sources.
- Plan sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation and other operations for production guidance.
- Expedite operations that delay schedules and adjust schedules accordingly.
- Prepare material requirements to support manufacturing schedules and customer requirements.
- Plan and monitor inventory levels to align with customer requirements and company targets.
- Manage long lead‑time products effectively.
- Support cross‑functional teams in forecasting, demand planning, and risk mitigation.
- Exercise independent judgment in negotiations, material planning, cost saving analysis, obsolescence analysis, and sourcing.
- Develop and maintain production schedules with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams.
- Balance capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Identify risks to the production plan and propose mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with value stream manager, customer service, and operations to align supply plans with delivery commitments.
- Maintain the highest ethical standards.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education/Previous Experience Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, engineering, or equivalent years of related experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in supply chain.
- Motivated and self‑driven with minimal supervision.
- Highly organized and self‑disciplined to support multiple programs.
- Exceptional communication, coordination, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑passed environment.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Experience supporting contract reviews and supplier performance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, intermediate skills in Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (INFOR‑LN preferred).
- Knowledge of reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Familiar with DAR/FAR and TINA government requirements.
Pay Compensation Range: $80,000-$.
Salary offered will depend on education, training, specific skills, years of experience and other relevant factors.
