Calibration Supervisor (Electrical / RF Lab)
Location: Chatsworth, Onsite
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Optional Overtime)
Salary: $60 – $75 per hour, depending on experience
Base pay range (per year): $ – $ (Annual equivalent)

Position OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Calibration Technician Supervisor specializing in Radio Frequency (RF) and Electrical Calibration. You'll ensure the accuracy and reliability of clients' measurement instruments, requiring precision, organization, and communication.
Responsibilities- Supervise daily operations of the Electrical/RF Lab to meet turnaround and quality goals
- Lead, train, and support Technicians, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards
- Calibrate RF/Microwave instruments (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meter, etc.)
- Calibrate electronic instruments (Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Hipot Tester, Accelerometers, etc.)
- Review calibration reports for accuracy and traceability to NIST standards
- Coordinate workload, assign priorities, and ensure timely completion of jobs
- Support internal/external audits and assist with corrective actions
- Maintain lab safety, equipment, and environmental controls
- Collaborate with engineers and QA to resolve technical issues and improve processes
- 5+ years of hands‑on Electrical and RF calibration with proven leadership or supervisory background
- Skilled in manual instrumentation calibration and familiar with ISO/IEC 17025 standards and uncertainty principles
- Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training or equivalent technical education preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving skills, with ability to train and motivate teams
- Proficient in calibration software, databases, and Microsoft Office
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. for onsite work; valid driver's license, clean record, and U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
