Base Pay Range

$70,000.00/yr – $95,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of planning studies, alternative analyses, impact assessments, and technical reports.
  • Support engineers in conducting site investigations, performing engineering calculations, and developing design drawings using CAD software.
  • Contribute to environmental impact assessments and engineering design tasks such as roadway alignment, traffic signal timing, bridge structural analysis, and transit system capacity studies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Transportation/Urban Planning, or related engineering fields.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
  • Familiarity with CADD/Design software (preferably AutoCAD, Micro Station, Open Roads, or Geopak).
  • Strong self‑motivation, problem‑solving, and team‑oriented work practices with excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Authorization to work within the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Previous internship or project experience in transportation planning or engineering, including conducting traffic impact studies, preparing preliminary engineering reports for roadway and transit infrastructure projects, evaluating transportation system efficiency, and/or analyzing traffic flow patterns and multimodal networks.
