• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belts, motors, photo‐eyes, relays, and more.
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facility; be able to move up to 49 lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, and perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Certification from Amazon’s Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship Program, or 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience.
• 2+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience.
• 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics experience.
• 2+ years of demonstrating safety standards experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment (MHE) experience.

• Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory.
• Associate’s or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
• 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
• 2+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.

USA, CA, Los Angeles – $35.00–$37.00 USD per hour. Starting Day 1 of employment, Amazon offers EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, 401(k) matching, and a total compensation package that may include overtime pay and performance bonuses.
