We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support the civil site design and utility conveyance system planning, design, and delivery for large-scale municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects. This role requires technical expertise, the ability to coordinate effectively with other disciplines, and strong communication and teamwork with staff in our local and regional offices. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in complex public infrastructure projects, including treatment facilities, pump stations, transmission mains, storage facilities, and integrated water systems.

This role focuses on developing design solutions for site development, grading, and linear utility systems. Responsibilities include technical analysis, preparation of construction documents, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, compliant designs.

• With high-level goals provided, create and sign off on basic to highly complex engineering designs involving site layout development, site grading and drainage, roadway, utility improvements, hydraulics and hydrology calculations, water distribution systems, collection systems, storage tanks and impoundments, foundation designs, stormwater infrastructure and treatment, and occasionally single-story structures.
• Perform engineering analyses and calculations related to pipeline hydraulics, system capacity, and site drainage.
• Prepare and review construction documentation, including civil plans, utility layouts, profiles, specifications, cost estimates, bid packages, and as-built drawings.
• Design and support implementation of stormwater conveyance systems, including pipe networks and open channel drainage systems.
