OverviewA skilled Senior Project Engineer is needed to assist with a major transportation and mass transit infrastructure project in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities include project controls, cost tracking, contract administration, quality control, and project closeout.

Ideal candidates will have experience with large-scale heavy civil, rail, transit, transportation, or infrastructure projects, with a focus on electrical infrastructure.

Key Duties Support Project Managers and Superintendents on transportation and infrastructure projects.

Review and interpret project drawings, contracts, and specifications.

Assist with change management, cost tracking, and financial reporting.

Verify construction compliance with plans, specifications, and codes.

Coordinate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and vendors.

Preferred Experience Desired experience includes rail, mass transit, transportation infrastructure, heavy civil construction, and electrical infrastructure.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
10+ years of construction industry experience.

Strong understanding of construction contracts and documentation.

Ability to manage project priorities and documentation effectively.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work with various stakeholders.

Project Experience

Experience with rail, mass transit, transportation infrastructure, and public works is highly desired.

Qualifications Previous Field Engineer or Project Engineer experience.

Strong understanding of project financials and cost forecasting.

Experience with project controls and commercial processes.

Skills

Experience with construction management software like Procore and Primavera P6 is preferred.
