As a Community Strategist
, you will work on an Unpublished R&D game team to help build, launch, and scale the community programs, platform strategies, creator incentives, and content campaigns that will spark growth, deepen engagement, and shape an emerging player community for a new game. You think about how aspirational subcultures get built and protected; how platforms influence communities; how algorithms drive content creation (and vice versa);
and how to support and reward all who engage.
You will anticipate where the next platforms and participation formats will emerge, and build community strategies and programmatic incentives that encourage participation both IRL and online, from the grassroots to the top. You will work closely with the development team, advising on how game features and systems can foster connectivity, share-ability, and growth. You will act as an advocate for the community, building feedback loops that foster trust and align perspectives.
You are comfortable building from the ground up and wearing many hats on a small, cross-functional team.
