For our client, we are seeking a Senior Vice President, Unscripted Studio - Production to join the team of a leader in the Media space.

This role will oversee the physical production engine behind a slate of unscripted programming, with a focus on maintaining strong creative execution while balancing budgets, schedules, and operational realities. The position will partner closely with producers, external production partners, and business stakeholders to keep multiple series moving efficiently from casting through delivery. It also calls for strategic leadership around co-productions, risk management, and production models that can adapt to changing market conditions.

Location:

Los Angeles, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $275,000 – $350,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Lead all physical production aspects across multiple unscripted series
  • Manage integration and product placement deals on shows
  • Evaluate external partners' production plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Oversee risk management and ensure legal compliance for productions
  • Balance creative goals with budgetary constraints throughout the production cycle
  • Collaborate with key producers to maintain high production quality
  • Drive innovation in production strategies and co-productions across international markets
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of unscripted production experience in a senior executive role
  • Demonstrated expertise in the full scope of production from casting to delivery
  • Proven track record of delivering successful multi-season franchises and marquee formats
  • Experience with large-scale competition and culinary productions
  • Ability to innovate and adapt production models to current business challenges
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across the entertainment industry
