Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Manager

As our Controller, you will oversee all financial operations, reporting, and compliance while partnering with executive management to drive strategic decision‑making. This role combines financial expertise with operational insight to support our continued growth.

• Guide the company’s financial planning and day-to‑day accounting functions
• Help shape financial policies that align with overall business goals
• Offer insights and analysis to support leadership decision‑making
• Promote clear communication and collaboration across departments on financial matters

• Oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports in line with GAAP
• Support the company’s annual reporting process
• Help maintain compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
• Manage banking relationships and help oversee financing needs
• Coordinate external audits and internal reviews
• Strengthen internal processes to protect company resources
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend practical changes
• Encourage sound financial practices across the organization

• Oversee payroll operations and related compliance
• Partner with HR on compensation and benefit‑related matters
• Offer financial input on compliance and regulatory topics

• Build financial projections and develop budgets
• Track key metrics to help identify trends and opportunities
• Support initiatives with data‑driven financial modeling

• Continuously improve finance department systems and workflows
• Maintain core financial systems including ledger, payables, receivables, and asset tracking
• Oversee domestic and international finance activities
• Manage reconciliations and inter‑company transactions
• Represent the finance function in external conversations and audits
• Be a go‑to contact for financial questions and review processes
• Lead and support the growth of the finance team
• Stay informed on industry trends and evolving best practices

• 7+ years of Accounting experience in Wholesale/Retail/Manufacturing, preferred
• Bachelors or MBA with a concentration in accounting
• High level of detail and analytical skills to identify opportunities and variances
• Track‑record of developing accurate budgets, forecasts and managing month‑end close
• Strong leadership experience and a process improvement mindset
• Extremely strong GAAP and financial reporting technical skills
• Experience with Microsoft Navision preferred
• Experience with Appfolio, and a WMS a plus

Salary Range: $140k to 165k DOE
