The Wonderful Company is seeking a Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting to join its dynamic team. Reporting to Senior Director, Financial Reporting, this role provides the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of companies spanning the United States, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific this role, you will support quarterly and statutory compliance reporting for all business units, ensuring accuracy and adherence to evolving accounting standards.
Responsibilities include evaluating and updating technical documentation as needed based on business changes, as well as conducting technical research, interpretation, and documentation related to new accounting guidance.
Additionally, you will serve as the primary owner of our Lease Accounting Center of Excellence, ensuring compliance with ASC 842 and IFRS 16 lease accounting standards. As a subject matter expert on leasing, you will work closely with business unit partners to oversee the Group’s lease portfolio, driving consistency, accuracy, and compliance in lease accounting practices.

This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.##
Job Description
* Assist in reviewing of the monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, including income statement and balance sheet analyses, and various management reports
* Support the detailed review of 13 separate US GAAP audit reports from 10 different business units and assist with drafting footnotes.
* Perform first level reviews for various statutory financial reports across all business units
* Manage the Group’s lease accounting portfolio, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS. Maintain Lease Accelerator records, review contracts and lease analyses, resolve technical issues, and oversee reconciliations and roll forwards. Validate data abstraction and reports before distribution to Business Units.
* Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS standards
* Research, analyze and conclude on technical accounting issues and draft accounting memos
* Provide a high-quality support and customer service to all business units and corporate departments
* Be a subject matter expert on Lease Accounting under ASC 842 and IFRS 16, acting as a key resource and business partner to our Business Units and their Accounting Teams
* Collaborate with business partners to refine lease accounting and reporting processes and controls
* Support the financial reporting function on the review of lease disclosures for all standalone financial statements
* Be our lease accounting software expert, aiding Business Unit Accounting teams, including but not limited to resolving lease software issues, providing training, creating SOPs and acting as the system’s administrator, assisting with configuration updates and maintenance
* Perform ad hoc analyses and reconciliations to support businesses around key business metrics and compliance projects (i.e. year-end audit, financial reporting and tax filings)## Qualifications
