Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $150,000 to $180,000 per year.

• Direct all core accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and maintain strong internal controls.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic financial initiatives and process improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline; CPA preferred.
• A minimum of 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting exposure.
• Previous background in manufacturing required; aerospace experience.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, ideally Net Suite, and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage large data sets and deliver accurate reporting under tight deadlines.
• Skilled in implementing and optimizing ERP systems and financial tools.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and compliance standards.
• Proven ability to lead and develop accounting teams effectively.
• Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.
