THE OPPORTUNITY

The Branch Support Representative represents the bank to the community and makes customers feel welcome, assisting clients with superior service for financial transactions. The role requires travel between temporary assignments at branch offices within a designated region. Responsibilities include processing cash and non‑cash transactions, maintaining a balanced cash drawer, providing customer service, cross‑selling products, reviewing reports, handling paperwork, answering telephone calls, supporting and training staff, ensuring compliance with bank and regulatory policies, and performing other duties as assigned.

You’ll Make a Difference
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and other bank transactions, including night depository and ATM.
  • Answer questions and resolve problems for customers concerning all services provided by the bank.
  • Identify opportunities to cross‑sell bank products and services and generate referrals to appropriate account managers.
  • Review and verify daily reports assigned by Branch Management.
  • Process all paperwork associated with transactions, including proper filing or discarding of sensitive information.
  • Answer branch telephone calls and assist with customer requests or issues.
  • Consistently maintain a balanced cash drawer.
  • Adhere to bank security policies and maintain confidentiality of bank records and client information.
  • Be willing to train in all areas of operations and support, coach, and train staff when appropriate.
  • Assist Manager in reviewing regional certifications; regional audits and G.L. reviews.

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
  • 2 years of teller experience (required).
  • New accounts experience (preferred).
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Basic understanding of cash handling and knowledge of 10‑key (or ability to learn).
  • Ability to learn key branch systems; basic end‑user knowledge of Word and Excel (required).
  • Detail‑oriented and accurate with the ability to organize and prioritize; highly flexible style (required).
  • Ability to travel between branch locations; fluency in Spanish beneficial but not required.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to refer new products and services to clients.
  • Responsive; establishes and maintains relationships internally and externally (required).
  • Engages others in a friendly and reliable manner; writes key information via email and communicates basic information via phone (required).
  • Stays current on all products and changes; answers questions with confidence (required).
  • Takes appropriate action to problem‑solve and follow up across multiple concurrent tasks (required).
  • Accountable for handling risk and making appropriate decisions (required).
