Seeking a US-based Interim Payroll Operations specialist to assist with day‑to‑day payroll processing across US offices. Responsibilities include first‑level administrative support, data entry, and payroll processing tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance. Ideal candidate has experience in full‑scope US payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities- Service Now Case Management
- Respond to all Service Now (SN) cases and expire as needed.
- Payroll Processing
- Evaluate incoming AD HOC requests and move them to payroll processing.
- Prepare EIBs based on AD HOCs provided by EOD.
- New Hire Payroll Setup
- Confirm address, tax setup, and banking details.
- Follow up with employees as needed.
- Benefits Coordination
- Liaise with benefits partners for retro benefit support.
- Leave of Absence
- Manage To‑Do items for LOA or RLOA.
- Urgent Payroll Change Notices
- Escalate urgent PCNs (Releases, Terminations, Off‑Cycle bonuses, etc.).
- Reconciliations
- Perform payroll account reconciliations (ARCs).
- Investigate cash rec discrepancies and provide tax breakouts.
- Complete daily PR to OSV cash/tax collection reconciliation.
- Banking Follow‑Up
- Follow up with NOC/ACH Return employees to update banking information.
- FPC, CPP or 4‑7 years of equivalent experience (preferred).
- Experience in payroll operations and case management.
- Familiarity with Workday, EIB processing, and Service Now.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
The role offers a competitive total compensation package with a salary range of $35.00–$45.00 (actual salary may vary). Benefits include discretionary incentive compensation and the firm’s standard benefits package.
