Private Equity Senior Associate – Software (Los Angeles)
We are partnering with a software-focused private equity firm seeking to add a Senior Associate to its Los Angeles-based investment team.
The firm invests exclusively in software businesses and operates with a highly autonomous, execution-oriented culture. This role offers hands‑on exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including transaction execution, due diligence, financial analysis, and portfolio company support.
Responsibilities- Support the evaluation and execution of software-focused investments
- Lead financial modeling, analysis, and due diligence work streams
- Contribute to investment committee materials and decision‑making processes
- Assist with portfolio company monitoring and value‑creation initiatives
- 2–4 years of experience in private equity (buy‑side experience required)
- Strong transaction and deal execution experience
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
- Ability to independently evaluate and discuss investment opportunities
- Prior software investment experience preferred but not required
