CFO

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Chief Financial Officer with a strong understanding of manufacturing industry practices to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $180,000 to $250,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:

• Direct all core accounting operations including payroll, payables, receivables, and ledger accuracy
• Lead budgeting efforts across departments and oversee capital planning and financial forecasting
• Monitor cash flow and implement strategies to improve liquidity and working capital
• Analyze production costs and inventory metrics to identify efficiency opportunities
• Present financial performance updates and strategic insights to senior leadership and board members

Requirements:

• At least 10+ years of experience in financial leadership, with a strong background in manufacturing
• Familiarity with cost accounting, inventory valuation, and operational finance principles
• Proficient in ERP systems and financial software, with advanced Excel capabilities
• Solid understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards relevant to manufacturing
• Proven ability to manage banking relationships and negotiate financing terms

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred
• CPA certification is strongly desired for this role
• Demonstrated success in building financial strategies that support business growth
• Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and driving collaboration across departments
• Excellent communicator with the ability to simplify complex financial data for diverse audiences
