Position Title:Accountant
Position Type:Full-Time, Benefited
Compensation:$80,0000 - $130,000 DOE

Location:Los Angeles, CA
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee and maintain general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and month-end accruals
- Oversee and maintain journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee and monitor budgets and ensure that expenses are within financial targets
- Analyze expense accounts and reports to assess variances on month-over-month or year-over-year basis
- Analyze project-related expenses to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
- Assist with accounting and financial reporting and related responsibilities related to federal and state grants
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and budgeting for grant programs
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and regulatory reports
- Develop and maintain report on reimbursement rate changes to ensure correct reimbursement rate
- Collaborate with staff and stakeholders and provide updates on project deliverables and timelines
- Oversee and maintain the operation and integrity of the accounting system application integration and upgrades
- Ensure knowledge of Medi-Cal specialty mental health services, behavioral health services, case management services, Cal-AIM and other relevant reimbursable services to ensure organization is in compliance with billing, coding and regulations
- Ensure compliance with accounting guidance and principles and compliance with regulatory agencies including but not limited to Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), Department of Health Services (DHS), Department of Management Health Care (DMHC) and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
- Develop financial statements and reports for Executive Team and Board of Directors
