Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Optometrist to join the Retina Division in Westwood. This position involves delivering exceptional patient care while collaborating with a dynamic clinical team in a high-volume setting. Perform imaging and comprehensive optometric examinations.
Responsibilities- Provide patient education through written and verbal communication, addressing questions about surgical options, lens choices, treatments, medication, etc.
- Participate in the identification and recruitment of patients who are eligible for participation in clinical trials
- Assist with postoperative care of cataract and glaucoma patients
- Write prescriptions for glasses and authorize medication refills
Salary Range: $85,
This position may be required to travel to other UCLA Health locations based on operational needs.
