Senior Mammography Technologist

Description

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs mammographic procedures at a technical level requiring no constant supervision of technical detail. Performs mammography procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

• Perform mammography procedures with independent judgment and initiative.
• Operate radiologic equipment safely and accurately.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the Radiology team to provide high‑quality imaging services.

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Certification:
  California Mammographic Radiologic Technology.
• Certification:
  National Registered Technologist – Mammography.
• Certification:
  National Provider BLS – American Heart Association (within 30 days of hire).
• 2 years experience in a clinical or hospital environment.
• 1 year clinical mammography experience.

$46.57/hr - $72.29/hr
