Xseer Pharmaceuticals, a 503B compounding company, is seeking a junior-level analytical chemist with hands-on HPLC experience to join our dynamic team.
We are a startup company, and over the past 15 months, we have been building our manufacturing facility and laboratory, installing instruments, establishing regulatory documents (SOPs, test methods), and training employees to work in the facility. This phase is nearly complete, and we are now preparing to start manufacturing drug products very soon.
OverviewIn this role, you will work closely with a Senior Chemist in the Quality Control team to ensure the safety and efficacy of our products. Your primary responsibility will be performing HPLC test method validation, along with other related tasks. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical drug product testing.
Responsibilities- HPLC method validation for various compounds (e.g., mineral, peptide, DNA, protein)
- Documentation under cGMP regulations
- Other tasks may involve:
- Total Organic Carbon (TOC) testing for in-house water
- Karl Fischer titration for API moisture content determination
- Osmolality testing for liquid drug products
- pH testing for liquid drug products
- FTIR for raw material identification
- Daily balance and pH verification
- Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Assisting Senior Chemist in preparing protocol, report, and test method
- Bachelor’s degree in science
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with HPLC
- Experience working in a cGMP laboratory
- Work Authorization:
Only candidates with valid U.S. work authorization will be considered. Sponsorship is not available for this position. - Relocation:
No relocation assistance is provided. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance before their first day of work and be available to work onsite, Monday–Friday (no remote work).
