Join the Emerald Eye Center Inc team as an Ophthalmic Technician in our Encino, CA office! This exciting opportunity allows you to work closely with patients, providing exceptional eye care and support in a friendly and professional environment.

• Assist ophthalmologists in performing eye examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Fit and dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses based on prescriptions.
• Provide patients with information on eyewear options and lens types.
• Maintain and manage optical inventory, including ordering supplies.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment in the clinic.
• Educate patients on proper eye care and eyewear maintenance.
• Handle patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
• Stay updated on the latest ophthalmic technology and trends.

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as an optician/ophthalmic technician preferred.
• Previous experience in an ophthalmology or optical setting is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with optical equipment and software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for patient care.
