Job Title:
Health Information Services Technician
Duration: 13 Weeks (3+ Months)
Location:
Torrance, CA 90048
Shifts:
1st shift, 8:00am-4:30pm
Job Duties:
- Receives and prioritizes customer requests from multiple sources and works them through the appropriate systems to completion within required
-response time frames and in accordance with State and Federal requirements and HIPAA regulations. - Address customer inquiries for patient information, assists callers with making record requests and general customer service.
- Educate customers on information confidentiality and privacy regulations.
- Identifies and responds appropriately to both internal and external customer needs utilizing available resources
- HS Diploma/GED is required
- Minimum 1 year experience required in EPIC/ROI (release of information module in EPIC)
