Orthopaedic Tech
The Orthopedic Technician is responsible for providing assistance to patients, providers and other members of the healthcare team. The duties involve specialized patient care tasks including casting, splinting, dressing changes, measurement and fitting of orthopedic braces and other devices and ambulatory aids and patient education. Additionally the technician will be required to complete routine patient care tasks so other caregivers can attend to other clinical and administrative functions.
Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the Providence Health & Services mission, philosophy and core values.

Required Qualifications:- Coursework/Training:
Completion of Orthopedic Technician Training Program. - Within 30 days of hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association - At least one (1) year full-time work experience in a hospital, clinic or office setting, working directly in the treatment of orthopedic patients.
