Title:

AM Caregiver

Compensation: $19.00/hr

Schedule:

Friday – Tuesday 6 am – 2 pm

Location:

Los Angeles, CA

The Caregiver provides direct care and assistance to residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) in a respectful, compassionate, and professional manner. This role supports the health, safety, and emotional well‑being of residents in an elder care environment while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life. All responsibilities are performed in accordance with each resident’s Service Plan and the community’s policies and procedures.

What

You’ll Do
  • Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meals
  • Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies
  • Support residents with self‑administration of medications as directed
  • Assist with transfers, positioning, continence care, and making resident beds
  • Serve meals/snacks and maintain clean dining areas
  • Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition
  • Practice infection control and safety procedures at all times
  • Support cognitively impaired residents using dementia care techniques
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in required trainings
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Must be at least 18 years old; high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior caregiving or senior care experience preferred
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English
  • Compassionate, dependable, and team‑oriented
  • Able to use basic computer systems for documentation
  • Current Adult First Aid certification required
  • Must pass DOJ/FBI background check (Live Scan), TB test, and health screening
  • Reliable transportation and flexible availability required
  • Must complete required Relias trainings monthly
