11pm-7:30am, rotating weekends and holidays.
Purpose Statement/
Position Summary:
The Sterile Processing Tech II, in conjunction with the Operating Room Instrument Technician, is responsible for the inspection, preparation, and sterilization of instruments and instrument sets utilized in the Main Operating Room. Loads and unloads sterilizers.
- 2 years experience in sterile processing.
- Preferred: 2+ years surgical instrument preparation experience; 5+ years in sterile processing.
- Must be knowledgeable about high level disinfection and instrument sterilization procedures.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current Central Service Technician Certification. Certification can be obtained within one year of employment with proof of 6 months working experience and completion of CS program and internship.
$44,117.00-$72,478.00. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.
