- Looking for:
- A responsible and dependable person to work
- Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a physical examination
- Must be able to pass a Background Investigation (Live Scan)
- Must have current TB/Health Screening within the past six months
- Preferred:
- DSP 1 & 2 Certification (training will be provided)
- Experience working in a residential setting with individuals obtaining developmental disabilities
- Up to date CPR/First Aid card
- Role Tasks Include:
- Attending to the needs of each consumer (including assisting them with grooming, bathing, hygiene, toileting, feeding and communicating other individual needs they may have)
- Maintaining a safe environment for the consumer by keeping the home tidy
- Updating consumer notes and information
- Supporting the needs and goals of each consumer (such as taking them to medical appointments, visiting families and friends, taking them to participate in leisure activities, and encouraging them to socialize with peers)
- Dressing according to dress code and safety regulations
- Attending regular staff meetings and educational trainings
- Performing other related duties and assignments as required
