Under direct supervision, the intern pharmacist is responsible for the development and utilization of skills required in drug distribution and in the provision of clinical services under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. The pharmacy intern assists pharmacists in providing medications to patients and performs routine duties in a hospital pharmacy.
Qualifications- Registered as an Intern Pharmacist with the California State Board of Pharmacy
- Ability to speak, read, and write the English language
- Subject to background and reference check
- Must be able to use the following equipment: calculator, computer printer, PC, medication carts, automated dispensing machines, etc. Proficiency in the operations of specialized equipment is necessary for assignment to specialized areas

Hours:
The intern pharmacist must be able to rotate shifts, alternate weekends, and rotate throughout any areas requiring the assistance of a pharmacy intern without impeding on school hours. - BLS certification preferred
