Bel‑Air Country Club is one of Los Angeles’s most exclusive private golf clubs, located in the prestigious Bel‑Air neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. Founded in 1925, the Club has a long tradition of excellence and privacy, serving an elite membership and emphasizing high standards of service and etiquette for members and their guests.

The centerpiece of Bel‑Air Country Club is its 18‑hole championship golf course, originally designed by the prominent architect George

C. Thomas Jr. This par‑70 layout is celebrated for its routing through the rugged canyons of the Santa Monica foothills, dramatic elevation changes, and scenic views over Los Angeles. It features a variety of strategic challenges throughout four distinct canyons connected by a series of tunnels, a suspension bridge, and even an elevator. The course was fully restored by Tom Doak and Renaissance Golf Design.

The Club has hosted major USGA championships, including the 1976 U.S. Amateur, the 2004 U.S. Senior Amateur, co‑host of the 2017 U.S. Amateur, and the 2023 U.S. Women’s Amateur. Additionally, the Club will host the 44th Curtis Cup in the summer of 2026 and the U.S. Mid‑Amateur Championship in 2030.

Beyond golf, Bel‑Air Country Club offers a full suite of recreational and lifestyle amenities. Members enjoy access to four tennis courts, a state‑of‑the‑art fitness center, a Full Swing golf simulator, and five well‑appointed overnight guest rooms.
