DevRel Engineer

Overview

Our client, a leading company in the Bitcoin infrastructure space, is looking for a passionate Dev Rel Engineer to become the bridge between their technology and the developer community. In this role, you'll be instrumental in driving developer adoption, creating exceptional technical content, and building meaningful relationships within the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Developer Engagement & Support

• Design and create reference applications that showcase the platform's capabilities
• Actively engage with developers through Git Hub issues, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and support
• Serve as a trusted advocate for the developer community, gathering feedback and collaborating with internal teams

Content Creation

• Produce high-quality technical content including tutorials, documentation, API references, and onboarding guides
• Ensure all content is clear, practical, and developer-friendly
• Translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences

Community Building & Events

• Organize, host, and deliver workshops, webinars, and training sessions
• Represent the company at industry conferences, hackathons, and meetups
• Foster relationships with developers, community members, and partners

Strategic Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to align Dev Rel initiatives with business goals
• Stay current with industry trends and competitive landscape
• Provide insights to guide developer relations and community-building strategies

• Strong software engineering background with experience building developer tools or blockchain applications
• Proven track record creating technical content (blog posts, tutorials, documentation)
• Experience in developer relations, technical evangelism, or similar role with demonstrated success driving developer engagement
• Experience organizing and conducting developer-focused events, workshops, or training sessions
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
• Strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work within American time zones

• Solid understanding of Bitcoin ecosystem and BitVM
