Job Description

• Installing and troubleshooting local area networks, including wireless systems and VoIP systems.
• Configuring a variety of networking equipment.
• Performing moderately complex network management, design, and integration with other system solutions to ensure an automated network management capability.
• Analyzing and solving complex networking problems.
• Reviewing and evaluating IT system designs for compliance with industry standards.
• Conducting site surveys, on-site assessments, and preparing design/SOW for installations.
• Preparing reports and technical documentation.
• Communicating ideas clearly and effectively in writing and orally.
• Prioritizing tasks and completing them timely.

• Review site surveys.
• Develop scopes of work.
• Create bill of materials.
• Accept equipment deliveries.
• Create asset workbooks.
• Generate status completion emails.
• Rearrange network equipment.
• Install power equipment (UPS, transformers).
• Configure network switches, modules, and cards.
• Install Cat6e/Fiber patch cords.
• Troubleshoot LAN equipment.
• Maintain relationships with personnel and organizations. Must have a California driver’s license, be able to carry tools/materials up to 50 pounds.

Requirements:

• Minimum three years of experience.
• Active Cisco CCNA or Aruba certification required.
• Reside within 30 miles of Los Angeles.
• Must have a laptop.
• Fingerprinting and background check required.
• Provide three references.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract. Expected hours: 40/week.
