Overview

We are seeking a talented Business Applications Developer to design, build, and maintain integrations and customizations across our enterprise business platforms, including Net Suite ERP, Ship Station, CRM, Shopify, HR/Payroll, Finance, and collaboration systems. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise systems, data integration, and automation. You will play a key role in optimizing business workflows, driving efficiency, and ensuring seamless communication between critical applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect, develop, and maintain integrations between Net Suite, Shopify, HR/Payroll, CRM, Finance, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Design and implement scalable integration modules, reusable components, and data sync pipelines connecting internal and third‑party systems.
  • Develop APIs, workflows, and automation using REST/SOAP, SQL, and platform‑specific SDKs.
  • Lead and support ERP upgrades, patches, and performance tuning initiatives within Net Suite and related system migrations (IE: Dropbox → Google Drive).
  • Implement automated monitoring, logging, and error handling to ensure reliable and transparent integrations.
  • Manage system deployments and participate in SDLC activities, including code reviews, QA, and documentation.
Platform Development & Customization
  • Build and maintain Net Suite customizations, including Suite Scripts, workflows, forms, and data transformations.
  • Design and develop SQL‑based reports, dashboards, and stored procedures using tools such as Power BI, Big Query, and Net Suite Analytics.
  • Customize and extend applications to improve financial, HR, and operational processes.
  • Support and enhance integrations between Net Suite and external platforms, such as Ship Station, Shopify, Hub Spot, and collaboration tools.
  • Administer user roles, permissions, SSO architecture, and enterprise security systems.
Automation & Internal Tools
  • Develop internal tools, scripts, and automation solutions leveraging APIs and AI platforms such as ChatGPT Enterprise.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring/logging systems for proactive system health management.
  • Create and manage automated data transformation and backup workflows across enterprise systems.
Collaboration & Business Support
  • Partner with business leaders, operations, and web to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Provide Tier 2 support for system issues, performing root‑cause analysis and implementing long‑term fixes.
  • Identify inefficiencies and automate workflows to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for integrations, configurations, and deployment processes.
  • Support testing, validation, and user acceptance phases during system enhancements and upgrades.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5+ years of experience in enterprise system development, ERP customization, and/or application integration.
  • Hands‑on experience with Net Suite ERP — including Suite Script development, Suite Flow automation, and integration with external systems.
  • Experience designing and maintaining integrations using platforms such as Dell Boomi, Mule Soft, Celigo, or custom middleware.
  • Solid understanding of data management, database architecture, and SDLC best practices.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API, Retool, or similar low‑code application frameworks.
  • Experience with retail and physical inventory‑based industry.
  • Experience with AI/automation tools, enterprise search (e.g., Elasticsearch), or RAG‑based solutions.
