Head of Growth - Institutional On-Chain Liquidity Layer

Location:

Remote - US (consider South America or Canada; onsite/hybrid preferred in LA)
Compensation: $200K - $225K

We are a venture‑backed on‑chain financial infrastructure company building the liquidity layer for the tokenized economy. Our flagship protocol, deployed across multiple chains, connects tokenized real‑world assets (RWAs) and high‑quality stable coins to enable 24/7, real‑time, compliant capital movement for institutions. Live in production with partners including major global asset managers, we are seeking our first dedicated Head of Growth to own institutional and DeFi adoption and turn product‑market fit into repeatable revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • GTM & Revenue Engine Ownership:
    Define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and territories across Trad Fi and crypto, setting quarterly OKRs and revenue targets
  • Sales Motion Creation:
    Build and manage the full funnel, creating repeatable sales motions for key segments (asset managers, stablecoin issuers, payment orchestrators, etc.)
  • Enterprise Sales & Partnerships:
    Own complex, multi‑stakeholder sales—from discovery through Legal/Info Sec/Compliance—and structure strategic partnerships that unlock step‑function adoption
  • Commercial Strategy:
    Negotiate commercial terms (volume tiers, usage‑based pricing, rev share) and define incentive structures to drive institutional and DeFi adoption
  • Product Narrative:
    Craft and champion the positioning of the protocol as the neutral liquidity layer; build enterprise‑grade enablement tools (ROI models, case studies, integration guides)
  • Ecosystem Development:
    Map the institutional on‑chain finance landscape, identify high‑value use cases, and orchestrate pilots that move real financial flows
  • Scaling Infrastructure:
    Stand up necessary systems (CRM, forecasting, operational cadence) and recruit and develop a lean, high‑leverage team (AE/BDR/Revenue Ops) as milestones are hit
Requirements
  • Leadership: 7‑12+ years in B2B growth/sales/BD for infrastructure or financial products (crypto infrastructure, fintech, capital markets tech, or B2B SaaS selling into Financial Institutions)
  • Closing Track Record:
    Proven closer of complex, multi‑stakeholder deals with banks, asset managers, exchanges, or corporate treasuries (deals involving legal/compliance/Info Sec)
  • GTM Scaling:
    Built or significantly scaled a Go‑To‑Market motion (early‑stage experience strongly preferred)
Industry & Technical
  • Domain Knowledge:
    Working knowledge of stable coins, tokenized funds/RWAs, custody, KYC/AML, on/off‑ramps, and settlement flows
  • Protocol Translation:
    Able to translate protocol mechanics (smart contracts, liquidity routing) into clear business impact and risk controls
Commercial & Mindset
  • Executive Presence:
    Executive‑caliber presence; comfortable engaging the C‑suite, risk, and legal teams
  • Commercial Fluency:
    Fluency in building ROI cases and commercial constructs (rev‑share, volume tiers, incentives)
  • Builder's Bias:
    Systems thinker with strong GTM operations instincts (CRM rigor, forecasting); a "builder's bias" to ship, iterate, and own outcomes
