Position: Patent Agent - Biotech #20707

Mid-Sized GP Firm with Cravath level compensation.
Very active practice at the PTAB and ITC.
National "Tier 1" in Patent Law, by US News & World Report.

REQUIREMENTS

  • USPTO admission required
  • Ph.D. degree in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related fields (bioinformatics, data science and machine learning are a plus but not required)
  • Prior patent prosecution experience
  • Experience drafting patent applications de novo from invention disclosure forms and/or inventor interviews with minimal supervision
  • Ability to present scientific concepts, analysis, reasoning and conclusions to scientists and non-scientists
  • Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities, stay organized and exercise attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team setting
