Infosys is seeking a Linux Administrator with 4+ years of administration and setup, problem resolution experience in various Linux flavors.

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship.
• Location may require relocation and/or travel to client/project sites.
• Linux scripting skills (Korn Shell, Bash, and other Linux/Unix scripting).
• Experience with Linux- PCA, OLVM, Windows perspective, hypervisor support, and Nutanix.
• Knowledge of virtualization hypervisors on Oracle PCA (OVM/OLVM), VMware, Nutanix, OS patching of Linux & Oracle EXADATA, ZFS storage.
• Experience with Ansible (YAML, Playbooks) or another enterprise-grade automation platform.

• Build, configure, and support various flavors and versions of Linux/Unix OS.
• Setup and configure compute servers, storage, networking.
• Knowledge of KDC, NIS, NFS, SAMBA, Automounter, OS firewalls.
• Configure virtual machines (VMs), transition to sustaining support of virtualized VMs, and configure Linux OS & services on servers.
• Knowledge of applications and services that run on Linux OS (Web services, Middleware services, Oracle Databases, Application Tomcat, Web Logic).
• Experience with OS patching, vulnerability remediation.
• Perform AD migrations using a predetermined process and procedure for engineering Linux servers, migrate Linux users to new directory services.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to quickly grasp user's technical aspects; customer focus; punctual & process-oriented; relationship building with customers and stakeholders.

Estimated annual compensation range for candidates in the below location:

• Canoga Park, CA: $72,897 to $98,795
