Embedded Security Architect; Lead

Role & responsibilities

• Design and define security architectures for embedded systems, firmware, IoT, and connected devices
  .
• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into appropriate security architecture and solution recommendations
  .
• Perform threat modeling, security assessments, risk analysis, and security gap assessments
  .
• Design and review security mechanisms such as Secure Boot, encryption, authentication, key management, and device identity
  .
• Provide guidance on secure firmware development and embedded systems security
  .
• Evaluate security requirements and recommend appropriate security controls, technologies, and architecture patterns
  .
• Support security architecture for IoT and connected-device ecosystems
  .
• Ensure proposed solutions align with relevant security standards, best practices, and industry requirements
  .
• Work with engineering and technical teams to review security designs and provide architecture guidance.
• Participate in pre-sales discussions, client meetings, technical workshops, and solution presentations
  .
• Understand client requirements and contribute to technical solution proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Prepare technical presentations, architecture diagrams, solution documents, and security recommendations.
• Communicate complex security concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
  .
• Support clients during technical discussions and help address security-related questions and concerns.
• Identify potential security risks and recommend practical and scalable mitigation approaches.
• Collaborate with sales, solution architects, engineering teams, and other stakeholders during the pre-sales lifecycle.
• Stay updated on emerging embedded security, IoT security, firmware security, and cybersecurity standards
  .

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for a senior security professional with 10+ years of experience and strong expertise in embedded and product security.

Required Technical Experience

• 10+ years of overall experience in Embedded Security / Product Security / Cybersecurity
  .
• Strong experience in Embedded Security Architecture
  .
• Hands-on understanding of embedded systems and secure firmware
  .
• Strong knowledge of Threat Modeling and Security Assessment
  .
• Good understanding of:

• IoT Security
• Connected Device Security
• Knowledge of security architecture, security controls, risk assessment, and security best practices
  .

Pre-Sales & Client-Facing Experience

• Strong experience in pre-sales technical consulting or solution consulting
  .
• Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into security architecture and solution recommendations
  .
• Experience participating in client meetings, technical discussions, workshops, and presentations
  .
• Experience preparing technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, solution documents, architecture presentations, and technical recommendations
  .
• Strong ability to communicate technical security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively with sales, engineering, architecture, and client teams
  .
