What would you say to joining a team taking Open Text environment through a major upgrade and cloud shift, and islooking for someone who enjoys being the go‑to expert when things get interesting. If you like solving tricky Content Server problems, building sharp Web Reports, and shaping how an organization uses its content and metadata, you’ll fit right in.
This is a 6+ month contract
, remote with Pacific Time hours. You’ll collaborate with a small, sharp team and jump into everything from system tuning to custom UI work to early-stage AI initiatives with Open Text Aviator.
Location: Must be US‑based. Southern California is a plus for occasional onsite sessions.
What You’ll Work On- Owning the health and performance of Open Text Content Server (v25.1)
- Digging into logs, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with Open Text support
- Fine‑tuning permissions, work spaces, and security models
- Supporting App Works and helping streamline workflows
- Helping move key components into AWS and keeping integrations with SharePoint and Azure running smoothly
- Exploring how Open Text Aviator and Knowledge Discovery can improve search, automation, and content intelligence
- Solid experience with Open Text Content Server and enterprise content management
- Ability to build and maintain complex Web Reports
- Experience with C# or similar back-end logic
- Familiarity with AWS or cloud-hosted environments
- Comfort working with metadata structures, permissions, and content architecture
- Experience with Open Text Knowledge Discovery
- Exposure to Open Text Aviator or other AI-driven content tools
- Ability to map processes or system flows in Visio
- Based in the United States
- Able to work Pacific Time hours
- Willing to attend onsite meetings in Southern California when needed
This is a contract role. Available for W-2 with access to benefits or C2C if you have your own benefits package.
