Principal Data Scientist leading AI and data science platform development within biopharma, focusing on clinical research and trial optimization.
Responsibilities- develop scalable AI tools
- collaborate with clinical scientists, biostatisticians, and data managers to design and deploy data-driven solutions
- implement robust, production-grade software and infrastructure on AWS
- communicate insights effectively
- Bachelor's in CS, Data Science, Statistics, or related
- 12+ years in data science with significant software development experience using Python or R
- expertise in machine learning, deep learning (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch)
- experience deploying models in production
- strong analytical and software engineering skills, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker)
- Master's or Ph.D. in relevant fields
- cloud architecture experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Big Language Models (LLMs), GenAI experience
- proven ability to develop and optimize analytics pipelines
biopharma clinical research, AI-powered data platforms, production ML deployment, scalable cloud infrastructure, cross-functional collaboration in clinical development.
