Network Engineer

Network Engineer Overview An  organization is seeking a Network Engineer to support enterprise network infrastructure, end-user technology services, and operational technology environments. This role combines network engineering responsibilities with hands-on technical support and requires an individual who enjoys working across infrastructure, systems, connectivity, and user-facing technology challenges. The ideal candidate will possess strong networking expertise, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to support distributed locations while helping maintain secure, reliable, and scalable technology operations.

Responsibilities Network Engineering Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure

Support network availability, performance, redundancy, and security initiatives

Manage network hardware lifecycle, upgrades, and deployments

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues

Implement security controls and assist with cybersecurity best practices

Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and technical standards

Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure incidents

Participate in network modernization and continuous improvement efforts

Technical Support Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for end users across multiple locations

Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and access-related issues

Manage incidents and service requests through a ticketing system

Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining ownership through resolution

Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users

Develop and maintain user documentation and knowledge-base articles

Identify opportunities to reduce recurring support issues through process improvement
