We are retained by a global design and consulting practice that is hiring for a Smart Building Technology Program Manager to help major healthcare and science organisations modernise how their buildings operate. This isn’t a role about picking systems or reviewing specs. It’s about helping large institutions make sense of the technology landscape and guiding them through decisions that carry long-term operational impact.
Why This Role Matters
Hospitals, labs, and mission-critical buildings are under pressure to modernize rapidly. They need connected systems, integrated workflows, reliable data, and environments that adapt to changing needs. This is a chance to lead programs that are bigger than a single system or platform, where your guidance shapes whole campuses and next-generation digital infrastructure.

This role integrates IT, Facilities, Engineering & Consulting. You will:
- Operate as a strategic advisor to executives
- Lead multi-year, multi-system programs
- Influence design, engineering, and operational decisions
- Align IT, facilities, clinicians, scientists, and administrators
- Shape the technology roadmap for buildings that must perform flawlessly
What You’ll Need
Experience
- MUST HAVE experience working with healthcare, S&T, or institutional environments
- 10+ years in program management, smart buildings, IT/OT integration, or technology consulting
- Demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional technology programs
Skills
- Executive communication and advisory capability
- Strong facilitation with diverse stakeholder groups
- Depth across building systems, digital infrastructure, and enterprise technology
- Governance, vendor management, and integration planning
