About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Litigation Attorney to join our award-winning Personal Injury team at The Dominguez Firm. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex cases, advocate fiercely for our clients, and make a meaningful difference in their lives. You’ll collaborate across departments, lead a dedicated support team, and handle all aspects of litigation from start to finish.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage a litigation caseload of 40-60 active cases (including the potential for more), handling all phases of litigation

• Prepare legal pleadings, motions, trial briefs, and other documents with attention to detail

• Lead, supervise, and collaborate with pre-litigation paralegals and support staff

• Provide regular file reviews and guidance to the demand team and paralegals

• Meet with multiple clients daily, including complex or high-maintenance cases

• Negotiate settlements and medical liens to maximize client outcomes

• Attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances

• Investigate cases thoroughly, including scene visits and interviews

• Identify high-value cases early and strategize effectively for success

What You Bring:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) and active California Bar membership in good standing

• Minimum 3 years of personal injury litigation experience

• Strong knowledge of medical, legal, and insurance issues (Medi-Cal, Medicare, Kaiser, etc.)

• Experience with Workers’ Compensation, Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist, and Premises Liability matters

• Excellent negotiation, litigation, and case strategy skills

• Outstanding communication skills — both written and verbal

• Energetic, proactive, and compassionate personality

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (90%+ of our clients are Spanish-speaking)

• Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools (Lexis Nexis, Westlaw)
