Full-time Associate Attorney – Litigation – Los Angeles, CA

The Los Angeles office of Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete seeks an associate attorney with 2–6 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions primarily in matters in state and federal court and arbitration involving claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, etc., in addition to providing advice and counsel support to clients.

Significant experience in labor and employment law, wage and hour, and PAGA related matters is required. Must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. Successful candidate will be a self‑starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be admitted to practice in California.

• Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings
• Draft and argue motions
• Take and defend depositions in state and federal court and arbitration
• Advise clients on labor and employment matters, wage and hour, PAGA
• Collaborate with team members on complex litigation
• Manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment

• 2–6 years of litigation experience in employment law
• Experience in discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and related claims
• Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent academic credentials
• Admitted to practice in California
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary range $185,000 – $215,000 per year.
