Job Overview
An established law firm in Los Angeles, California is seeking an experienced Employment Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Employment/Labor law litigation and be passionate about advocating for clients' rights. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, providing flexibility while offering the opportunity to work on a variety of employment law matters.
Location
Duties
- Represent clients in legal proceedings and negotiate on their behalf.
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis on various employment law issues.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
- Offer legal advice to clients on a broad range of employment-related matters.
- Advocate for clients in court proceedings and other legal forums.
- Stay updated on relevant legal developments and changes in employment laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Proficiency in areas such as PAGA, sexual harassment, discrimination (race, national origin, age, sex, disability), family/medical leave issues, wage and hour disputes, and severance negotiations.
- Strong legal drafting and research skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex legal concepts effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Lexis Nexis and other legal research tools.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the California State Bar as an attorney.
Education

Certifications
- Admission to the California State Bar.
Skills
- Expertise in Employment/Labor law and litigation.
- Strong proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
- Exceptional ability to interpret and apply legal concepts.
