Your Role and Impact

As a Personal Injury Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through the legal process after an accident, ensuring their cases progress efficiently and effectively. Your ability to manage case files, communicate with clients, and coordinate with medical providers and legal teams directly impacts case outcomes and client satisfaction. By leveraging your expertise in personal injury law, you will help maximize settlements and support attorneys in building strong claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular case updates and addressing inquiries.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain case files, including medical records, accident reports, and insurance documentation.
  • Coordinate medical treatment and communicate with healthcare providers regarding client injuries and treatment plans.
  • Assist in drafting demand letters, settlement packages, and other legal correspondence.
  • Work closely with attorneys to prepare cases for negotiation, litigation, or trial.
  • Monitor case progress and ensure timely follow-ups with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and medical providers.
  • Verify and negotiate medical liens to optimize settlement distributions for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes in the case management system.
  • Support attorneys with discovery, depositions, and trial preparation as needed.
Your Skills and Expertise

• Strong knowledge of personal injury law, medical terminology, and insurance claims processes.

• Excellent communication and client service skills to provide compassionate and effective support.

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in case management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and legal research tools.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.

• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury case management in a law firm or legal setting.
  • Proven track record of successfully handling pre-litigation and litigation support in personal injury cases.
  • Experience coordinating medical treatment, drafting demand letters, and negotiating liens.
