Litigation Paralegal – Los Angeles, CA

The Role

A leading global law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support high‑profile litigation matters in its Los Angeles office. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside an accomplished legal team on complex and high‑stakes cases across all phases of litigation and trial support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case initiation through trial and appeal.
  • Prepare appellate records and appendices, review and compile trial court documents and transcripts.
  • Assist with calendaring case deadlines and managing dockets.
  • Draft, proofread, and file court documents across state, federal, and appellate courts.
  • Organize, review, and produce documents in response to discovery requests.
  • Perform cite‑checking, Blue booking, and quality control for briefs and discovery materials.
  • Assist in deposition and trial preparation, including creating binders, charts, and exhibits.
  • Coordinate with vendors for trial and eDiscovery support.
  • Manage day‑to‑day case administration tasks while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 7+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA‑approved program.
  • Strong knowledge of California state and U.S. federal court procedures.
  • Experience with class actions, antitrust, and appellate law a plus.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools (Lexis Nexis, Westlaw), eDiscovery platforms (Relativity, Opus 2, Case Map), and document management systems (iManage).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with precision and efficiency.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Availability to travel and work overtime as needed.
