Labor & Employment Associate - California

Overview

Clark Hill is seeking a California licensed Labor & Employment Associate with 3-6 years of experience for its Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco office. This role focuses on a broad range of employment issues including single-plaintiff employment litigation (e.g., workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination) and class action/PAGA experience.

• Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions in litigation.
• Take and defend depositions, and conduct administrative hearings when applicable.
• Provide day-to-day advice and counsel to employers.
• Draft workplace policies and conduct employee trainings.

• California bar license with 3-6 years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Experience handling a broad range of employment issues, including single-plaintiff litigation and class actions/PAGA.
• Litigation experience should include drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions; experience taking/defending depositions and conducting administrative hearings is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with excellent work ethic, writing, communication, and research skills.

The salary range at the time of posting is $165,000 - $190,000 annually, based on full-time schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by factors including qualifications, experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
